The charitable work of a Harriston youth was recognized by Minto council at the Jan. 22 meeting. Sam Faulkner has operated a lemonade stand for the past four summers and donates the proceeds to causes such as the New Growth Family Centre in Mount Forest, Listowel Memorial Hospital emergency room, the Harriston Kinsmen and the local food bank.
