PALMERSTON – The Grove Palmerston Hub (formerly known as the Integrated Youth Services Network) is planning to host a plant night for young people between the ages of 12 and 26.
The free event will be held on Aug. 5 at The Grove, located at 390 Main Street East, Palmerston, right next to Norwell District Secondary School.
Participants will be painting and decorating plant pots and then planting either a vegetable or a succulent in this pot after.
“We will provide you with after care instructions to ensure your plant lives a healthy long life,” organizers note.
The event will be broken into two sessions:
– session one: tailored for youth between ages 12 and 16 (but all youth are welcome) from 2 to 3:30pm; and
– session two: aimed at youth between ages 17 and 26 (but everyone is welcome) from 6 to 7:30 pm.
