Zak Whitford, 17, of Fergus, presented Kim Henry from the Guelph Canadian Cancer Society with a donation of $505 on Sept. 11 at the Arthur Fall Fair.
Whitford donated a large portion of his proceeds from his photography business, The World Through My Lens.
“I wanted to give back to my community because I understand the devastation of losing family members to cancer. I believe every bit counts and that people can do great things if they work together.”
Whitford sold his photography on hand made greeting cards and frames all summer and will be continuing his photography business and his mission to make a difference.
