The third meeting of the 4-H Rockwood Woodworking club took place on June 3 in Rockwood.
President Maddison opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge.
After the pledge, we split into two groups, one in the shop and one doing woodworking. During woodworking, we started by burning a design in the cheese boards we made the meeting before.
When we were done burning our design, leader June had made a beeswax and olive oil coating for our boards to add as protection and waterproof.
We then moved onto our boxes, which we burnt another design into and coated with the beeswax and olive oil as well. In the shop, the group made a second cheese board then finished up their bubblegum machines or moveable toy animals using the scroll saw.
After we finished our activities, we re-adjourned into one group where Maddison closed our meeting with the 4-H motto.
