Charlotte Woodhams is thankful for her very own Christmas “angel,” though she’s not even sure of the woman’s full name.
On Dec. 15, while at the checkout at the Fergus Walmart, Woodhams was on the phone with her bank, trying to transfer money to ensure she had enough cash to pay her bill.
Suddenly a woman in line named “Cheryl” offered to pay Woodhams’ bill – over $100 in groceries – and then even drove Woodhams home to her Fergus apartment.
“It was wonderful,” she said. “I just want to thank her and let other people know this world isn’t all that bad. There’s good in the world too.”
