John Laforet, president of Wind Concerns Ontario, and others will discuss the impact of industrial wind turbines at the Wellington County Museum’s, Aboyne Hall, on June 22 from 7 to 8:30pm.
Laforet will discuss how the provincial Liberal government’s Green Energy Act removed municipal government’s authority to implement installation of wind power, and why that is misguided.
The presentation is sponsored by Oppose Belwood Wind Farm Association, concerned citizens in the Belwood, Fergus, and East Garafraxa area.
Wind Concerns Ontario is a province-wide advocacy organization.
It is a coalition of over 50 citizen groups promoting awareness of the alleged impacts of industrial wind power.
