MINTO – The Town of Minto is joining this year’s national celebration of arts and culture by hosting a large variety of events and activities for Culture Days.
Sponsored by Minto’s Cultural Roundtable, the committee invites everyone to join them between Sept. 22 and Oct. 15 for some hands-on fun and experience the importance of local arts and culture in the local community.
Get crafty with activities such as barn quilt painting, a painting workshop, Tie-Dye in the Park, activities with the Minto libraries, and more.
“Experience local culture and history with historical downtown tours, Coffee House night in Clifford, Introduction to Genealogy and more. With over a dozen activities, there is something for all ages,” organizers state.
Events are all entirely free and will be located across Harriston, Clifford, and Palmerston.
Those interested in participating can register on the Town of Minto website. Watch for more information coming soon on town.minto.on.ca/events or follow @townofminto and #MintoCultureDays on Facebook.
