Wesley Bates was honoured here recently in recognition of his artwork selection in the juried Toronto Outdoor Art Show held in Nathan Phillips Square July 10 to 12.
Mayor David Anderson said, “It is an honour for me to make this presentation. You do so many other things for our community. We all know how much more you do, and I’ve seen your art and it’s about time you were given this award.”
Anderson added that Bates has “a nice little shop up in Clifford and he and Juanita are co-hosts of the Clifford Farmers Market and doing a great job.”
