In March 2017, the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation and five Wellington County municipalities including Minto and Wellington North, created a new partnership called Saugeen Connects.
Officials say the mission is to collaborate and positively impact local economic growth, support youth retention and development, support growth and retention of businesses and to attract immigrants.
The municipalities will launch the new project on June 26 from 8:30 to 10:30am at the Neustadt Community Centre.
Part of the new project includes Succession Matching, an online community of buyer, seller and succession planning professionals.
Wellington North economic development officer Dale Small said only nine per cent of businesses have succession planning.
After the launch, one-on-one meetings will be available to get set up with Succession Matching.
