WELLINGTON NORTH – An online community survey is now in place to gather information on improving volunteer opportunities in the township.
The results of the survey will be used to better support the recruitment, engagement and retention of volunteers in the Township of North Wellington.
This research is being conducted by PIN – The People and Information Network, on behalf of the Township of Wellington North.
Information on volunteers
Questions include location of the potential volunteer, approximate age, whether the person is an active volunteer within the past 12 months and where the individual volunteers – and why.
If a person has chosen not to volunteer in the community, officials would like to know why as well.
The survey also seeks to determine how individuals find out about volunteering opportunities and if there are barriers to volunteers.
