Wellington County and its seven municipalities are working together to develop their first economic development strategy.
The group is seeking comments from all residents and business operators. The questions include:
– What do you love about your community?
– What kind of economic development initiatives would you like to see happen?
– What opportunities are there to stimulate business growth in your community?
– What would you say to another business owner to convince them to locate in your community?
The eventual plan for economic development will be reflective of those answers and officials are encouraging everyone to add to the process.
The survey will take about five minutes.
It allows people to participate in a public focus group session and provides ideas and feedback on the county website, www.wellingtonmeansbusiness.ca.
There are several ways to participate. Officials suggest people check the project website for information on how to participate and also what other people are saying.
