WELLINGTON COUNTY – May 16 to 22 is National Public Works Week (NPWW), and this year’s theme is Stronger Together.
County of Wellington officials state NPWW is an opportunity to appreciate the essential role public works plays in our community.
“Thank you to the dedicated men and women in the engineering services department who work tirelessly to provide vital services to help protect our health, safety, and quality of life in Wellington County,” states a press release from the county.
“It is more than plowing snow and collecting waste.”
Residents are encouraged to visit www.wellington.ca/npww for some fun activities and to learn more about public works in their community.
