GUELPH – Fête Romantique was again a big winner for Guelph Arts Council, raising close to $16,000 in support of the council’s programs.
This year’s winner of the grand prize is Paula Richardson, who has lived in Guelph for 15 years. She and her five guests will have a multi-course dinner co-ordinated by Platters Catering and Events and served by members of Guelph Arts Council on Feb. 14.
The dinner takes place in a local heritage home and comes complete with free limousine service.
Thirty others won prizes, such as tickets to local concerts, theatres, and festivals as well as gift certificates to Guelph restaurants or the products and services of fine local businesses.
The draw was on Jan. 29.
