GUELPH – Families can register kindergarten children for for the Wellington Catholic District School Board’s 2023-24 school year beginning Jan. 9.
Students must be four years old on or before December 31 to attend the first year of kindergarten in Sept. 2023, and five years old for year two.
Kindergarten is a two-year experience building community and providing learning for all children in a faith-based environment.
Before and after-school programs may also be available to supplement the kindergarten experience.
Registration is hybrid with pre-registration occurring online.

Families interested in having a child enter school immersed in an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program can do so at Sacred Heart Guelph.
Sacred Heart has been certified as the only local public provider of the primary years baccalaureate program.
For children in kindergarten to age 12, the primary years program nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning by offering an inquiry-based curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding.
Limited space is available, and registration must be completed by Feb. 3 to be considered for the program.
