WATERLOO – The Waterloo Wellington Down Syndrome Society (WWDSS) is holding its annual Any Which Way You Can A-Thon fundraising even.
The event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 26.
In 2021, as WWDSS celebrate its 20th year anniversary, the WWDSS Any Which Way You Can A-Thon will be virtual again.
The event will reflect the change in the association’s name by welcoming its newest members from Wellington County and the City of Guelph.
Festivities will begin online at 3:45pm and will include speakers, entertainment, your 21-minute activity, and top fundraiser prize announcements.
On Sept. 26, people from all over are invited to join the celebrations by tuning into the WWDSS YouTube Channel.
People are encouraged to tune in and spend 21 minutes doing an activity that they love, while staying safe and raising money for the Down syndrome community.

Playing basketball, skateboarding, playing at the park, or bike riding?
The WWDSS Any Which Way You Can A-Thon ensures that individuals and groups can enjoy their time being active together.
Everyone is invited to participate, regardless of their address.
Register as an individual or a team, determine your fundraising goal, invite family, coworkers, and friends to join your team and start fundraising.
One hundred per cent of the funds raised will support essential services and programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
WWDSS’ 21 Challenges Contest
The WWDSS is also announcing the continuation of its 21 Challenges Contest.
For the second year in a row, the WWDSS has begun its celebrations early by incorporating 21 days of challenges leading up to the event.
While the activities began on Sept. 5, it is not too late to join in.
Families and individuals can participate by posting a photo or video of the day’s challenge to their Twitter or Facebook Account with a public privacy setting.

Every day you participate earns you an entry into the draw to win one grand prize of a $200 gift card to either an online or retail store of your choosing.
