The 7th annual Walk for Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) Disease is set to take place Sept. 24 at 9:30am at Victoria Park.
The event is to educate about CMT and help to support families and others who are faced with this disease but ultimately, help find a cure.
CMT is the most commonly inherited neuropathy in the world affecting 1 in 2,500 people worldwide totaling an estimated 2.8 million people.
The 2km to 5km route around Victoria Park will begin at 9:30am. One can choose to run, walk, jog, or bike.
Refreshments will be provided. This is a family event and organizers encourage participants to bring out the entire family and have some fun for a great cause.
