The 6th Annual Walk for Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) Disease will be held on Sept. 25 at 9:30am in Victoria Park.
The event’s aim is to educate people about CMT and help to support families and others who are faced with this disease – and ultimately, to help find a cure.
CMT is the most commonly-inherited neuropathy in the world, affecting 1 in 2,500 people worldwide totaling an estimated 2.8 million people. The 2 to 5km route around Victoria Park will begin at 9:30am. Participants can run, walk, jog or bike.
Following the walk refreshments and snacks will be provided.
This is a family event and those taking part are encouraged to bring out the entire family to have some fun for a great cause. Kid’s activities include colouring stations, cooking decorating, face painting and more.
