Volunteer at sunrise to help children with special needs enjoy their camp experience.
Volunteers are needed to help as leaders or side walkers in horseback riding lessons, Monday through Friday during the day and some evenings.
Summer volunteer scheduling is very flexible – choose dates that suit your schedule – half or full days.
Training is provided for all volunteers and Canadian certified instructors and safe, well-schooled horses are used in lessons.
Many teen volunteers ages 14 years and up join Sunrise during the summer and it’s a great way to earn high school community hours. The barn is a 15-minute drive from Guelph and Cambridge.
