CENTRE WELLINGTON – Elora Community Theatre (ECT) will hold a volunteer open house on July 26 from 5-9pm to allow community members to learn more about the organization and its volunteer opportunities.
The event will take place at 227 St. Andrew St. W. in Fergus, above the I Love Chocolate! store. Attendees are instructed to enter from the third back door.
Whether individuals are looking to give back to the community, develop new skills or meet new people the volunteer open house offers an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome to contribute their time and talents for a greater good.
ECT takes pride in welcoming and encouraging new members to join their charitable not-for-profit community theatre group.
There are many opportunities in ECT that encompass hidden talents, acting, directing, marketing, web design, hair and makeup, set construction, set painting, sound or lighting design, backstage crew, stage management and more.
ECT is always looking for talented new individuals to join their board of directors who are willing to share their expertise and help the theatre grow.
ECT is over 52 years old and has produced over 200 varied productions.
It operates as a non-profit charity under a constitution and a 12-member board of directors.
