The People and Information Network will unveil a lasting legacy celebrating volunteers and Canada’s 150th during a drop in “Urban Art Gala” on June 14.
With thanks to the Guelph Arts Council and appreciation to funding partners Guelph Community Foundation and the Government of Ontario, an innovative mural project led by Fergus artist Meredith Blackmore, welcomed more than 150 volunteers to engage in the creation of a mural that began during National Volunteer Week from April 23 to 29.
Through the generosity of a variety of host sites, volunteers were invited to participate in collaborative artwork, expressing ideas about Canada and volunteering.
The June 14 gala will run from 4 to 6pm at 46 Cork Street East in Guelph.
