Perth-Wellington MP John Nater, right, presented John Walsh of Arthur with a commemorative lapel pin and certificate of recognition created to honour the extraordinary role Canadians played in the Allied victory 75 years ago. The medallion was presented to Walsh on Nov. 14. The pins, fashioned after the Victory nickel that was produced after the Second World War, are being presented to Canadian veterans of the conflict.
