Police are searching for clues after a number of break-ins and thefts in the Puslinch area last week.
Among the items stolen were two vehicles, one of which was not recovered.
Wellington County OPP started receiving calls about the overnight crimes at about 6:30am on May 25.
Police say “the investigation is in its early stages,” but they have released the following information about the incidents:
– multiple vehicles were entered on Ellis Road in Puslinch Township and a 2016 Dodge Ram stolen out of Breslau was found in the ditch, along with items from one of the vehicles entered;
– a garage and house were entered on Sideroad 20 South in Puslinch and a black 2014 GMC Sierra was stolen from the driveway; it was found about 2km away on Concession 1;
– a home was broken into on Concession 2 in Puslinch and a brown 2011 Land Rover (Ontario plate BJHE 751) was stolen – it was not recovered; other stolen items include a MacBook, chainsaw, wallet, toolbox, tools, spray guns and an ATV; and
– vehicles were entered overnight along Paisley Road in Guelph-Eramosa and stolen were a GPS unit and other items.
