HARRISTON – On Feb. 14, at about 3pm Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from a residence on King Street here.
Police say a 2012 black Ford Escape was left idling unattended in a driveway when it was stolen. It was last seen traveling near Elora Street. Approximately 20 minutes later the vehicle was located, undamaged, on the lawn of a residence on Elora Street West in Harriston.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest seen in the area of John Street, Elizabeth Street and Elora Street. The person is described as female, approximately 5’10” in height and carrying a large pink purse.
