WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB), partners with Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) and Grand Erie District School Board (GEDSB) to offer an Elementary Remote Learning Program for students in Grade 1 through 8.
“While we believe that in-person learning best supports students, we recognize that some families may want their child to learn remotely, due to their unique circumstances,” officials state.
Students in the remote program have a dedicated remote classroom and remote learning teacher offering synchronous learning from 9am to 2:40pm, with a 40 minute break for lunch.
Pre-registration for the remote program is now open. School boards are gauging interest, viability, and Ministry of Education requirements. Families that sign-up will be contacted at a later date.
To pre-register for the program parents must discuss interest with their current principal then complete the form at: ugdsb.ca
