ELORA – The Elora Fergus studio tour is free of charge and is a self guided tour to meet and greet artists where they live and work on two consecutive fall weekends, Sept. 28 and 29 and Oct. 5 and 6 from 10am-5pm.
This year new studio members Michael Madden and Nancy Ariss from the promotions committee have created two exciting new free kick off events for the public to enjoy leading up to the 2024 studio tour.
Opening Gala – Centre for the Arts in Elora
Join us this year in meeting with the Elora Fergus Studio Tour artists at the new Gala opening reception.
It is a celebration of the arts in the community, so put on your fancy outfits and enjoy an evening filled with refreshments, food, door prize and live music.
Artists will each have one piece on exhibit in the gallery; 35 per cent of any sales will go towards the Elora Centre for Arts.
The gala event takes place Sept. 19 from 7 to 9pm at the centre.
Art in the Park – Downtown Elora Green Space
Join artists from the Elora Fergus Studio Tour who will be offering artist demonstrations in the park.
This is a new event highlighting the talented artists in the community. Meet the artists and learn more about their art.
Look for the tents in Downtown Elora by the Tall Man statue and enter a draw to win a $250 door prize.
This event takes place on Sept. 21, from 11am to 3pm in the Green Space in Elora.
