The Harriston Minto Agricultural Society recently received $2,000 from the Trillium Roots Community Fund.
This funding will enable the society to purchase new gates for the Harriston-Minto Fall Fair.
“We are extremely grateful to Trillium Mutual for their support,” said society president Linda Campbell.
The Trillium Community Fund is an initiative of Trillium Mutual Insurance Company. The fund was established to provide meaningful support of capital projects to community organizations in order to aide in the sustainability efforts of rural Ontario.
The Harriston-Minto Fall Fair is an annual event held the second weekend after Labour Day at the Harriston-Minto Arena and Community Complex.
This year’s fair will take place Sept. 18 to 20.
