Two teenagers are facing theft and mischief charges after tricycles were stolen from a local school and thrown into the Grand River.
On April 6 Wellington County OPP received a theft report from James McQueen Public School in Fergus.
Police say that on March 24 three tricycles used by kindergarten students at the school were stolen.
“Witnesses reported seeing some youths riding the tricycles (in) downtown Fergus and had thrown them into the river,” police stated in a press release.
A 17-year-old and 13-year-old have been charged with theft under $5,000 and mischief.
