GUELPH – Officials at Hospice Wellington are expressing gratitude to the community for a successful Tree of Remembrance campaign it held in December.
The initiative raised $49,750 for its supportive programming.
“In addition to our wonderful community, we do need to highlight some of our special helpers that make our Tree of Remembrance not only a success in raising funds for our organization, but also help spread awareness of our support programming and residence, helping families throughout Wellington County,” organizers state in a press release.
Organizers thanked:
– Andra Arnold and Associates;
– Prime Care Pharmacy;
– Stone Road Mall;
– Staff at Lenscrafters;
– Laurie Rogers;
– Sussman’s of Arthur;
– Bisson Dentistry;
– Duff’s Church; and
– volunteers and Hospice Wellington staff.
Organizers offered a special shout-out to Julie Martin-Jensen from Hospice Wellington for helping get ornaments to Sussman’s and for getting Hospice Wellington involved in her holiday event in Erin in November.
