Township officials plan to remove snow in downtown Fergus and Elora starting at 9pm on Dec. 19.
A Centre Wellington press release states the work will continue throughout the night and be completed by the morning of Dec. 20.
Centre Wellington workers also plan to clear public parking lots during afternoon and night shifts this week.
Officials are asking residents who normally park in Fergus downtown lots to park in the Fergus Curling Club lot instead during the snow clearing. Residents who park in Elora downtown lots, including the Geddes Street parking lane off East Mill St., are asked to park at the Little Folks lot instead.
The municipality is reminding residents and businesses that vehicles must be moved from public lots after 24 hours.
