WELLINGTON NORTH – The township invites all volunteers and newcomers to a community luncheon from 11am to 1pm at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex on Sept. 23. A catered meal will begin at 11:30am with a cake cutting and welcome from Mayor Andy Lennox at noon.
“If you have recently moved to the area, this is an opportunity to learn more about your community, ask questions and receive a welcome bag of useful information and goodies,” states an Aug. 16 press release.
