The New to You Shop in Arthur (formerly known as The Opportunity Shop) is moving to a new site.
To celebrate, when its doors open for business at 10am on March 27, all items in the store will be marked down by 50%.
Everything will be sold at half price.
The moving sale will end on March 31 and the shop will then be closed so staff and volunteers can devote April to packing and preparing for the move to the new location.
The shop will re-open on May 1 at 207 George Street, Arthur (formerly Brenda’s Bakery).
Throughout April, donations of gently used clothing, soft goods, household items and books will still be accepted at the current location in Arthur at 480 Smith Street.
Groves Memorial Community Hospital and the Groves Hospital Volunteer Association thank all who have supported the New to You Shops in Arthur and Fergus either as customers or by providing donations, and the volunteers look forward to continued support at the new location.
The money that has been raised by the New to You Shop in Arthur since 1979 has been invaluable to the hospital and, along with the Fergus Shop, helps provide much-needed equipment and services.
