ERIN – A watermain break that affected the Stanley Park industrial area in Erin on April 24, and left some with little to no water flow at the tap, has been repaired.
The Town of Erin disclosed the issue in a Wednesday press release, citing information from the Ontario Clean Water Agency that a break occurred that afternoon “in the Cataract Trail area.”
With the town’s water tower level at 56 per cent yesterday, residents were asked by the municipality to limit water use.
Service was restored as of 10pm the same day, according to a town social media post.
