The Centre Wellington Fusion AA team is Scotiabank Cup Champions. The team opened the tournament with a convincing 5-2 win over the York Toros. Next was a 3-0 win over the Ottawa Sting. The boys finished the round robin beating the Mississauga Braves 3-1. The semi-final saw a rematch with the Ottawa Sting. The score was 1-1 at the end of regulation and it took the Fusion less than three minutes of overtime to score and secure a spot in the championship game. In the final the team met the Clarington Toros. The Fusion played well and won the championship 4-1.
