ARTHUR – World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. hall of fame wrestler Tito Santana (Merced Solis) is coming to Arthur on Nov. 30.
In a fundraising event for the Arthur Optimist Club and Arthur Area Curling Club, Santana will be talking with fans about wrestling and funny things that happened while he was a professional wrestler.
“Have a conversation with fans,” Santana said. “And just go back and forth.
“To be honest with you when I talk to fans they always bring up a bunch of stuff that I forgot even happened.”
The evening will include a meet and greet with Santana, over 90 minutes of stories and a question and answer sessions at the end of the show.
Santana said that fans often tell him they remember him talking to them or giving them a high five or a hug when he was in the professional circuit between 1979 and 1993.
“I always … made it a point to treat the wrestling fans real nice,” he said.
Santana also said that no questions are off limits during his show.
“If I can answer it I will be more than happy to answer it,” he said.
“I can’t tell you how many times people thank me for the entertainment over the years.
“Everybody has a different story about why they were entertained and why they liked Tito Santana.”
The Arthur Optimist Club fundraiser will take place, with the help of Scorpion Entertainment, on Nov. 30 at the Arthur Area Curling Club.
