Three people assaulted with ‘noxious substance’: OPP

PALMERSTON – Police are looking for help to find an individual they say assaulted three people with “a noxious substance” outside a home here last weekend.

Wellington County OPP officers were called to a house on Victoria Street in Palmerston on Sept. 10 at 6pm.

“Initial reports indicated that there was a verbal altercation in the parking lot of a business on Main Street, Palmerston between the victims and unknown persons in a vehicle who then followed the victims to their residence,” police stated in a press release.

“A physical altercation ensued, and the driver of the involved vehicle assaulted the three adult victims with a noxious substance.”

Police say the vehicle involved is a black, newer model, four-door Dodge Charger or Challenger with tinted windows that at the time was carrying four males and one female. 

The driver is described as a Caucasian male, 25 to 35 years old, tall with a thin build and brown hair, wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark-coloured T-shirt and black shorts. 

The three other males are described as Caucasian, and the female is described as Caucasian with tattoos on her arms.

Police are asking residents in the area to review video surveillance for footage of the vehicle.
