Three new chairs for staff here will cost taxpayers roughly $1,200.
The cost was brought up at a recent council meeting by Deputy Mayor Judy Dirksen.
When commenting on the cost of the three chairs, Dirksen noted the cost was roughly $1,200.
Clerk Marsha Paley said three chairs were purchased.
The ergonomic chairs were for the treasurer, the clerk and the clerical assistant.
Treasurer Gord Duff said the old chairs have gone on to other uses.
“That was my next question,” Dirksen said. “You’re starting to anticipate my questions. As long as they went to a good home, that’s great.”
