Earlier this week a Rockwood man was arrested in connection with an incident in December during which police dispatchers were allegedly threatened.
On Dec. 22 a man contacted the Guelph Police Service and “engaged in communication with dispatchers that was aggressive and concerning,” police stated in a press release.
Police identified the man and issued a warrant for his arrest. On Feb. 26 Wellington County OPP arrested a man and transported him to Guelph Police.
Rudolfo Cavarzan, 54, of Rockwood, was charged with uttering threats and is to appear in court on April 10.
