On June 21 Wellington County OPP officers received several reports of thefts from vehicles here.
Police say the thefts took place overnight and the vehicles were parked in the driveways of homes.
The suspect(s) entered unlocked vehicles and stole items ranging from money and electronics to identification.
Police want to remind vehicle owners that thefts from vehicles are a crime of opportunity. An unlocked vehicle door or an open window is an invitation to thieves, and keeping valuables out of view could prevent a theft from occurring.
Anyone with information regarding the thefts, can contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
