The show is based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey. In 1957, it became a hit on Broadway and spawned revivals and a popular film. It is still frequently produced.
It features a con man who convinces people he can turn students into musicians, and his trials and tribulations along the way.
The popular musical by Meredith Willson will be performed at the school on April 30, and from May 1 to 3, with all shows starting at 7pm.
