Coffee for a good cause - Louise Marshall Hospital Auxiliary members, rom left, Gail Jefferson, Marion Officer and Penny Renken helped to serve hot beverages and sweet treats to shoppers at the North Wellington Farmer’s Market on June 17 in the parking lot of the Victory Community Centre in Mount Forest. The funds raised from selling coffee, tea and baked goods go towards the purchase of much needed medical equipment for the local hospital.

MOUNT FOREST – The first Wellington North Farmers Market of the season was held on June 17 in Mount Forest. Twelve vendors were on hand to offer a range of goods including baking, candles, quilts, crafts, honey, plants, meat, preserves and more. Organizers expect to have a few more vendors at future markets once local fruits and vegetables become available. The market is held every Saturday from 8:30am to noon in the parking lot of the Victory Community Centre on King Street.
