ONTARIO – Focus on Nature has announced that the TD Bank Group has donated $3,500 to support nature and arts programming for elementary school students in Ontario, continuing its ongoing support for the organization since 2010.
“TD is proud to support the work of Focus on Nature, helping young people from across Southern Ontario to connect with nature and explore their creativity through photography,” district vice president Stephanie Cafaro stated. “It’s an inspiring program with a positive impact for youth in our community.”
“We are grateful to have TD Bank Group’s continued support of us as we move into another school year,” said Focus on Nature executive director Sarah Fontes.
“We are excited to see the impact their support is having by providing more workshops than ever before to children across Southern Ontario to explore and connect with nature through photography this coming autumn season.”
Focus on Nature is a Guelph-based charity that delivers school-based nature photography programs to inspire young people to connect with the natural world and develop their creative potential.
TD has targeted $1 billion by 2030 towards community giving in four areas that support change, nurture progress and contribute to making the world a better, more inclusive place.
