ELORA – Wondering how to treat Mom on Mother’s Day?
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce is holding a Mother’s Day brunch on May 12 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the GrandWay Events Centre.
Seating reservations are for 10:30, 10:45, and 11am.
Tickets cost $50 plus HST for adults, $25 plus HST for children aged 4 to 12, and children 3 and under are free.
A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to The Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children, Youth, and Families.
The Guelph-based Nightingale Centre is a non-profit organization established in 2019 to support children and families living with, or anticipating, the death of a significant person in their life.
It offers one-on-one grief support programs and services that are available at to cost to families.
The meal includes a cold buffet of smoked salmon, cheese and charcuterie, fruit salad and yogurt parfait.
The hot buffet includes eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and sausages.
There are also assorted pastries, scones, cheesecakes and chocolate fudge cake to end on a sweet note, as well as a cash bar.
