Take in nature at Arboretum in Guelph on Sept. 20

The newly launched Canadian Chapter of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides (natureandforesttherapy.org/chapters.html) is holding a walk at The Arboretum, University of Guelph.

The walk will be on Sept. 20 from 11am to 2pm.

Forest Therapy originated from Japan’s Shinrin-Yoku, which literally translates into “forest bathing” (taking in the air of a forest).

It is a gentle way of moving mindfully through nature.

Led by experienced guide Ben Porchuk, the walk will open your senses and connects you to different ways nature can help align and heal you.

The early bird registration date is Sept. 12 and the fee is $55 plus HST.

After Sept. 12 the fee is $65 plus HST. Registration is on-line at: uoguelph.ca/arboretum. For more information call The Arboretum at 824-4120 extension 52358.
