ELORA – The township will pay its own way as it cleans up an unoccupied building in downtown Elora that collapsed last week.

ELORA – Elora’s largely unknown power couple Kristy Hillis and Don Kogen are at it again, this time offering to build public washrooms in Elora.

ELORA – Don Kogen couldn’t be more pleased that Centre Wellington council is allowing he and his wife Kristy Hillis to add a balcony to the former Commercial Hotel at 43 Mill St. W. in Elora after originally being turned down.

ELORA – Kristy Hillis and Don Kogan are continuing with their plan to beautify downtown Elora. On Jan. 29, Centre Wellington council agreed to sell Francis Lane to Kat Florence Corp. Ltd., Hillis’ business, for $160,000 to create a pedestrian walkway.

ELORA – If you think Elora is looking a little more gorgeous for the holidays this year, you’re not wrong. There’s a beautification project going on and there are many people to thank for it.

ELORA – It's just a drop in the bucket, but the owners of 27-43 Mill St. W. in Elora will receive a $10,000 grant Community Improvement Plan grant from the township.
