Nine members of the Superstars Baton Club competed in Kitchener at the annual CNBTA Provincial Championships on May 7 and 8.
Mackenzie Fraser, 10, of Arthur, was first in open basic march and third in open strut, fourth in the provincial strut and second in the Novice Miss Majorette of Ontario pageant. She returned home Novice Provincial Solo Champion.
Alyssa George, 12, of Fergus, was second in provincial 3baton, rhythmic twirl and 2baton, third in provincial solo and third in the Advance Miss Majorette of Ontario Pageant. She returned home Intermediate Provincial Strut Champion.
Hayleigh Homer, 12, of Fergus, was first in basic march and third in provincial strut, 2baton and solo dance.
Skylar Irwin, 12, of Arthur, was second in basic march, third in provincial solo. She returned home the 2016 Novice Provincial 2 Baton Champion as well as the Beginner Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Paige Johnston, 8, of Arthur, was first in open 2baton, second in provincial solo, third in provincial strut and second in the Beginner Miss Majorette of Ontario pageant. She returned home the Novice Provincial 2Baton Champion.
Shayla Logel, 11, of Elora, was second in basic march and open strut, third in open solo, and third in the Novice Miss Majorette of Ontario pageant. She returned home the Novice Provincial Strut Champion.
Elsie Post, 10 of Arthur, was second in provincial solo, third in provincial strut and second in the Provincial Cup Championship. She returned home the Intermediate Provincial 2Baton Champion, the Beginner Provincial 3baton Champion and the Beginner Provincial Rhythmic Twirl Champion.
Lauren Robb, 16, of Fergus, was first in open 2baton and 3baton, second in open solo and provincial rhythmic twirl and third in provincial solo and 3baton. She returned home the Beginner Provincial Strut Champion.
Makenzie Worton, 14, of Fergus, was first in open 2baton. She returned home the Intermediate Provincial Strut Champion and the Intermediate Provincial 2baton Champion.
The duet team of Homer/Irwin placed first in open duet; they are Beginner Provincial Duet Champions. The duet team of George/Worton placed first in open duet; they are the Intermediate Provincial Duet Champions.
Team “Hot, Hot, Hot” placed third – members include: Fraser, Johnston, Logel.
The team “Little Devils” placed third – members include: Homer, George, Irwin and Post.
The team “Jellicle Ball” retuned home as the Junior Beginner Trio Provincial Champions – members include: George, Robb and Worton.
