Superstars are National Champions

Eight members of the Superstars Baton Club competed in Kitchener at the Annual CNBTA National Championships on July 3 to 5.

Approximately 75 athletes gathered to compete for the Ruby and Diamond Cup, National Championship title, and Miss Majorette of Canada Pageant.

Alyssa George, 11, of Fergus was 1st in open duet, solo and 2baton. Alyssa is the 2015  national beginner 3baton and national intermediate solo champion.

Hayleigh Homer, 12, of Fergus was 1st in open strut and basic march.

Skylar Irwin, 12, of Arthur was 2nd in open duet, solo.

Paige Johnston,  7,  of Arthur was 1st in open solo, strut and 2baton. Paige is the 2015 Beginner National Solo Champion.

Shayla Logel, 10, of Elora was 2nd in open 2baton and 2nd in the preteen novice Miss Majorette of Canada pageant.

Elsie Post, 9, of Arthur is the 2015 intermediate national solo, x-strut and 2baton champion, and beginner national rhythmic twirl champion.  She is also the juvenile intermediate Miss Majorette of Canada.

Lauren Robb, 15, of Fergus 1st in open 3baton and 2baton,

Makenzie Worton, 13, of Fergus was 1st in open strut, 2baton, duet, solo Makenzie is the 2015 Beginner National X-Strut Champion.

Team “Conga” are the preteen beginner dance twirl champions while team “Moulin Rouge” placed 2nd in the beginner trio division.
