Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre will be hosting its spring “Little Breeches” Club starting on April 9.
This program introduces children aged four to seven to horses through hands-on and horse-themed activities, crafts and games, and is open to children with and without special needs.
The program is $125 for a set of five Saturday visits: April 9 to May 7. Two session times are available: 9:30 to 11:30am and 12:30 to 2:30pm.
All proceeds support Sunrise’s therapeutic riding program for children and adults with special needs.
Children will have the opportunity to groom and interact with Sunrise’s miniature horses and donkey each week, and enjoy a riding experience on the final visit, led by a certified Sunrise instructor, with assistance from trained volunteers.
