Volunteer at Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre to help children with special needs enjoy their camp experience.
Volunteers are needed to help as leaders or side walkers in horseback riding lessons, Monday through Friday daytime only. Summer volunteer scheduling is very flexible – choose dates that suit your schedule – half or full days.
Training is provided.
Many teen volunteers ages 14 years plus join Sunrise during the summer. It’s a great way to gain high school community hours, officials state. The barn is only 15 minutes by car from Guelph and Cambridge.
Volunteer orientation and training will take place on June 25 from 1 to 4pm.
