Even though the weather has been not very cooperative this summer, Wellington County is blessed with events far and wide to meet most interests.
This past weekend, the Moorefield Optimists and Drayton Kinsmen hosted their first ever rodeo with great success. The groups are already beginning plans for next year.
Mount Forest will soon have its fireworks festival, which is a great local event that has gained traction over the years.
Fancy trucks and cars were featured in Clifford a few weeks ago. Fergus will host its truck show soon too. After that, the Scottish Festival and Highland Games will entertain the town as it has for generations.
In addition to these community- wide events, there are plenty of other entertainment opportunities like local theatre, worthwhile displays at the Wellington County museum, trails to hike and villages to explore.
There’s much to do in Wellington County. There’s lots of fun for everyone this summer.
