The staff at the Wellington County Museum and Archives are accepting registrations for their popular series of summer art workshops.
This year, the program celebrates 20 years.
It begins July 3 and concludes July 31.
This season offers a broad variety of two, three and five-day courses in oils, acrylics, watercolours, sumi-e brush painting, photography, fibre arts, illumination, collage, printmaking, encaustic, and fused glass, mosaic, and chalk pastels.
Held in spacious, light-filled rooms in the museum and around its extensive property, these workshops are offered as a week-long or weekend experience.
All classes run from 9am to 4pm with a lunch break.
Many favourite instructors are returning, including Debbie Thompson Wilson, Meredith Blackmore, Nan Hogg, Jean Loney and Bonnie Steinberg.
The museum is also welcoming six new instructors: Laurie Skantzos, Ash Kearns, Saskia Wassing, Supria Karmaker, Roslyn Levin and. Pearl Van Geest – the 2014 City of Guelph’s first “Artist in the Community.”
